Overview
OneWay is a calorie and energy balance tracking app for iPhone. Version 1.0 keeps your data on your device. We do not operate user accounts, cloud servers, or analytics in v1.
Information we collect
Data you enter — Calorie logs, notes, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone (SwiftData). We do not receive copies.
Apple Health (HealthKit) — With your permission, OneWay: Deficit reads body weight, active energy burned, and resting energy burned to show your daily balance. Version 1.0 does not write to HealthKit. Revoke access anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → OneWay: Deficit.
Purchases — OneWay Smart subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your card number or Apple ID password. Apple may tell the app whether a subscription is active so Smart features can unlock on this device.
Notifications — If you enable meal reminders or Smart Reminders, OneWay schedules local notifications on your device. Turn them off in OneWay Settings or iOS Settings → Notifications. Version 1.0 does not send server push notifications.
Photos — If you choose Save Image when sharing a progress card, iOS may save that PNG to your photo library. OneWay does not browse or upload your photo library.
We do not collect — Names, emails, location, contacts, advertising IDs, or third-party analytics in v1. Health, logs, and settings are not transmitted to OneWay LLC.
How we use information
All processing happens on your device. We do not sell or share personal information.
Data retention
Data remains on your device until you delete the app or reset in-app data. Uninstalling OneWay removes locally stored app data subject to iOS behavior.
Children
OneWay is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app changes. We will post the new version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date.
