Email supportOneWay reads burn and weight from the Health app. Your tracker and scale write there first.
Burn and weight read from the Health app. In OneWay, tap Reconnect Health app in Settings, or open Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → OneWay: Deficit.
Sync a smart scale to Apple Health, or log weight in the Health app. Chain: scale → Health → OneWay.
OneWay reads your total burn as Active plus Resting. An activity tracker synced to Health — usually Apple Watch — supplies those numbers.
The same answers live in the app under Help.
So you learn what food costs in calories. Eventually you will maintain — not diet — and you will not want to rely on an app forever. OneWay sets you up for long-term success, even after you delete it.
If it has calories, log it — including drinks and anything that has calories. Small omissions add up fast.
The Health app’s burn total is an estimate — it can run high or low for your body. Burn Calibration lets you nudge that number up or down in Settings so your deficit reflects reality.
With OneWay Smart, Smart Burn Calibration can recommend — and optionally auto-apply — a calibration based on your logged calories, burn, and weight over time. It runs locally on your device.
